Sliding mold; It is used in high buildings with reinforced concrete curtain walls. There are certain usage restrictions. It is a formwork system that enables high-rise buildings to be built in a short time, requires uninterrupted concrete pouring, and in which 24-hour work is planned and organized in the utmost. In cylindrical and prismatic structures, it can be tilted inward and partially outward while moving vertically.
The slipform system can also be used in hyperbolic structures. Some of the cooling towers can be built with this method. The reason why the sliding mold is given this name is not because it actually slides. Small but continuous rises give the impression that the pattern has shifted over a larger period of time.
The assembly, operation and disassembly of the sliding formwork is a very time-consuming, meticulous and planning formwork system. In projects involving very large areas such as grain and raw material silos, it may be necessary to make more than one level horizontally in order to reduce the initial investment cost.
In prismatic structures, vertical reinforced concrete walls must be in a continuous and constant cross-section. Protrusions and recesses cannot be made in the sliding mold. Sudden cross-section changes and sharp corners should also be avoided in the sliding formwork application.
The work of transporting the workers and personnel working on the formwork is done by different methods according to the height and size of the structure. The most practical and reliable method is the elevator for the transportation of people. Human elevators working on a gear system mounted on the body are the most used type.
In buildings that are not too high, a portable ladder system can be installed from the outside in the same way. The method in which both are done and back up each other is the most preferred.
Sliding Molds;
– Cement and clinker silos, Crushed stone and lime silos, Grain silos, Glass silos, Bridge piers and viaducts, Industrial chimneys, Control and TV transmitter towers, Observation towers, Waste water treatment tanks, Dam water intake structures, Balance shafts, Dam shaft coating with constructions – It is preferred in ventilation chimney coatings.
Slipforms; It consists of brackets with balustrades that support formwork and formwork designed for single-sided concrete surfaces and high-rise structures.
It is generally used in the construction of structures such as dam projects, bridges, high retaining walls, multi-storey buildings and silos.
Mold in the climbing formwork system; It is connected to the vertical braces of the console by means of tension hooks and can be moved by crane as a whole. This; It will save you a great deal of time during construction. Thanks to the buttresses, it is suitable for angled concrete pouring suitable for your project.
Anchor shaft that will remain in the concrete at the first casting; In the second casting, it is connected to the console and allows the mold to be carried. A safe working platform is prepared by placing wooden planks on the H20 Wooden beam or 8×20 wooden timber, which are connected to the special brackets on the consoles. Thus, an economical and safe system is obtained.
